Cards accept optional visual-only trailing content, with a supported theme color and space reserved beside the card’s text. Applications own the indicator’s meaning and actions, including pin state, persistence and ordering.

Checked selection indicators now have a themeable fill and contrasting checkmark. List items, Grid items and Select all share the same color roles.

Rebuild consumers against this release because the Card function signatures have changed. Existing source calls that omit trailing content remain valid.

0.1.61 — 6 October 2026

Fixes repeated swipe deletion after cancelling a confirmation or a failed save. When a host temporarily disables an item while confirming deletion, Kit now releases the swipe reset state even if Compose interrupts the reset.

The sealed List/Grid API introduced in 0.1.60 remains unchanged. Grid retains menu deletion and selection actions, with swipe deletion unavailable.

0.1.60 — 6 October 2026

AndroidKitList now owns its lazy container, item spacing and adaptive grid columns. Both List and Grid modes remain supported by the same component.

This release removes gridColumns and makes the androidKitListItems lazy-list and lazy-grid helpers internal. Replace those helpers with AndroidKitList and rememberAndroidKitListState; pass page padding directly to contentPadding and share the state’s selection with page and navigation chrome.

List mode enables swipe deletion when a delete action is supplied. Grid retains menu deletion and selection actions, with swipe deletion unavailable. See the migration guide.

First public binary distribution through the Maven endpoint. This packages the existing 0.1.53-SNAPSHOT implementation as a fixed version; component behavior and public APIs are unchanged.

The current guides describe Android Kit 0.1.63. Guides are imported from the same Kit checkout as the compiled packages during release staging.

Release policy

• Publish the library modules and BOM together.
• Preserve already published versions so existing builds remain reproducible.
• Publish a new version for corrections instead of overwriting a release.
• Include the MIT license and applicable third-party notices.
• Keep implementation source archives out of the public distribution.
